What are the non-academic requirements for entry into initial teacher education programs?

From Semester 1, 2018 admission requirements for all teacher registration programs will include a questionnaire and a 1000 word written statement addressing suitability criteria under two categories of 500 words each:
- Category 1: Your Motivation and Suitability to Become a Teacher
- Category 2: Your Involvement in Personal Learning and Leadership
Students will need to address both categories, and it is recommended to refer to the Fact Sheet available on the QTAC initial teacher education webpage to help you prepare your statement.
Please note this is required from all applicants, regardless of whether you are eligible to apply directly with UniSQ or via the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).
