How many units can I study online or externally as an International Student on a Student Visa?
Updated
The following table is a guide for you to work out how many units you can study in online or external mode within the 33% limit that applies to International students on a Student Visa.
The ‘total number of units to complete for your program’ (column 1 in the table below) does not include units you have been granted exemptions for. For example, if you are granted 8 units of exemptions towards a 32-unit program, your total number of units to complete for your program becomes 24 and your maximum units of online/external study becomes 8.
Every unit attempted via online/external mode contributes to your 33% limit regardless of the final grade achieved, including failed units.
The UniSQ International Student Support team will notify you when you are approaching your maximum limit of online or external enrolment for your program, and will also notify you in the event that you reach or exceed your limit for your program.
