You may be eligible for credit towards your UniSQ study, if you have completed prior study, such as a few subjects, a full Diploma /Degree and/or have relevant work experience.
The amount of credit granted will depend on the type of prior learning and the degree you applying for.
As we receive a high volume of credit applications at the beginning of each study period, applying early will give us time to process your application before the study period starts.
If you are a current UniSQ student, you may apply for credit online by going to:
- Log into UConnect
- Student Centre
- Online Requests tile
- Add a New Request
- Credit Transfer menu item
Credit may be requested for:
- Study at UniSQ
- Study at an External Institution
- Work Experience
You must provide supporting documentation with your credit request. The type of supporting documentation depends on the type of prior learning.
An application for credit is separate to your application to study, therefore:
- If you are applying to study directly to UniSQ, you will be directed to the Online Credit application once you have submitted your application to study.
- If you are applying to study via QTAC you will be able to access an application for credit via the QTAC application process.
Credit based upon work experience does not apply to all programs and students are encouraged to contact the University before commencing work on your credit application.
Your application will be assessed by the relevant team and in most cases will be finalised within 10-20 days. You will receive the outcome of your application via email.
Further information on applying for credit is available.
