What is my Primary, Preferred and Degree Name?

Check your current Names via UConnect > Student Centre > Personal Details tile to ensure they are correct.
Please ensure your Names are correct, and if necessary, submit an online name change request which may also require a colour copy of appropriate supporting documentation.
- Primary Name
This is your legal name as listed on your Birth Certificate, Passport, Drivers Licence or other official identity document.
- Preferred Name
This is the informal name by which you prefer to be addressed, for example, the name used to address you in University communications. i.e. Bec, instead of Rebecca.
- Degree Name
This name appears on your (3) official UniSQ graduation documents:
- Official Academic Transcript
- Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
- testamur (degree)
